Generally, not on its own. In EB-5, a company’s sales revenue can help show that the business is active and healthy, but it is rarely enough, by itself, to establish the lawful source of the invested funds.
This is because immigration authorities want to understand how capital was accumulated and how it reached you, not just that the company generates revenue. Revenue reflects business performance; source of funds is the trail that connects that money to its legitimate origin.
- Bank statements and records showing the flow of funds.
- Personal and corporate income tax returns.
- Contracts, profit distributions, and other corporate documents.
In short, sales revenue may be included in the file as one piece of evidence, provided it is accompanied by documents that trace the origin of the money. Because the analysis is done case by case, it is worth confirming the required documentation with USCIS and building your file with the support of specialists.
