There is no fixed number. Unlike some visa categories with an annual cap, the L-1 does not impose a predetermined limit on how many petitions the same company can have approved simultaneously.

Each petition is reviewed individually by USCIS, based on whether the requirements are met: the employee’s managerial, executive, or specialized knowledge role, the qualifying corporate relationship, and the regular operation of the company. If each case stands on its own merits, there is no prior cap on simultaneous approvals.

  • There is no fixed quota per company for the L-1.
  • Each petition is judged on its own merits and supporting evidence.
  • The compliance of the company and the position is what weighs in the review.

Because rules can change, it is worth confirming updated requirements with USCIS or a specialist before preparing multiple petitions.
