On its own, probably not. In the EB-1A, demonstrating that your work generated significant savings for the industry is a compelling argument: it signals real impact and influence in your field. But no single achievement, however impressive, guarantees approval.
The EB-1A follows a totality-of-evidence approach. The adjudicator evaluates how your evidence, taken together, sustains the extraordinary ability standard. A meaningful economic impact carries more weight when accompanied by:
- Recognition of the achievement by independent experts in the field.
- Solid documentation of the impact, such as industry analyses, expert opinions, or sector publications.
- Other evidence of originality, leadership, and outstanding contribution.
In other words, the economic demonstration is a valuable piece of the portfolio, not a standalone shortcut. The more consistent and well-documented the overall picture, the stronger the case.
Since each case is evaluated individually, it is worth checking updated requirements on the official source (USCIS) and building your strategy with a specialist before filing.
