I manage 30 employees. Does that make my EB-1C case strong?

It is a good sign, but it does not close the case on its own. In the EB-1C category, the number of people under your supervision helps demonstrate that you hold a managerial role, yet the analysis goes well beyond that headcount.

Supervising 30 employees can point to meaningful management responsibility. Even so, to qualify, the assessment typically considers a combination of factors, such as:

  • whether your role was genuinely executive or managerial, with decision-making authority;
  • whether a qualifying corporate relationship exists between the overseas entity and the U.S. company (parent, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate);
  • the complexity of the operation and the organizational structure that justify the transfer.

In other words, leading a team is an important data point within a broader picture, not an automatic approval stamp.

Because each case is evaluated as a whole, it is worth checking the current requirements with USCIS and reviewing your eligibility with a qualified specialist.
