Do I need to print the DS-160?

You do not need to print the entire DS-160. It is completed and submitted fully online, so there is no need to bring the whole form printed to the consulate as part of the L-1 visa process.

What you must print is the confirmation page with the barcode generated at the end of the form. It serves as proof that you completed the application and must be presented at the consular interview or at the point indicated by the scheduling instructions.

To avoid any surprises on the day of your interview:

• Save and print the confirmation page as soon as you finish the DS-160.
• Check that the barcode printed legibly.
• Keep the confirmation number together with your other documents.
