Is it possible to skip the consulate interview for the third time?

There is no way to guarantee it. The consular interview waiver (known as the Interview Waiver) in the H-1B visa process may be granted in certain situations, typically tied to a recent renewal and criteria set by the U.S. government, but it is never automatic, including on the third occasion.

Consulates have the authority to evaluate each application individually. If they determine that a new interview is necessary to confirm information or examine changes in your circumstances, they may summon the applicant even if interviews were previously waived.

In other words, having received the waiver twice does not guarantee a third time: the decision depends on the consulate’s assessment at the time of the request and the rules in effect, which vary by location.

To avoid being caught off guard, keep your documentation up to date and check the latest guidance on the official channels of the U.S. Department of State or with a specialist before scheduling.
