In the EB-5 program, there is no fixed revalidation schedule for Regional Centers: once designated, a center does not go through a renewal process at set, recurring intervals.

That does not mean oversight disappears. Regional Centers must maintain ongoing compliance with program requirements, and the USCIS (U.S. immigration service) may conduct audits or reviews when there are signs of non-compliance or significant changes in operations.

If irregularities are found, measures can be taken to protect investors and the integrity of the program. In other words, a center’s status can be reviewed as needed rather than on a fixed schedule.

Since rules and practices can change, it is worth confirming the status of a Regional Center and the current requirements with USCIS before investing.
