Does my degree affect my EB-5 application?

Not directly. The EB-5 is an immigration pathway based on investment and job creation, not on the investor’s academic background. Your degree, on its own, is not a factor that determines eligibility.

What truly matters in the analysis is the lawful source of funds, the ability to make the required capital contribution, and the project’s effectiveness in creating jobs for workers in the United States. Prior experience, skills, and diplomas do not typically factor into that calculation.
