The EB-3 visa is an immigration pathway aimed at skilled workers, professionals with specific educational levels, and unskilled workers. This program is designed to fill job vacancies in the United States, allowing beneficiaries to obtain permanent residency.

Although it offers the opportunity to settle in the country and consequently access the services available to residents, the visa itself does not directly ‘cover’ healthcare. Upon obtaining permanent residency through the EB-3, the immigrant and their dependents become eligible to acquire health insurance plans through the private market or, depending on their economic conditions and the state where they reside, have access to public programs such as Medicaid.

However, it is important to highlight that these benefits are not automatically free or included as part of the visa. Obtaining health insurance, either through employers or individual plans, is a separate step that must be conducted following the rules and regulations of the American healthcare system.

Furthermore, it is crucial to understand that immigration and health laws and policies may change. Therefore, keeping up with regulatory updates and seeking information from official sources or reputable companies is always recommended. Avoiding dubious offers and unfounded promises about benefits or privileges is essential to maintain security and compliance with the law.

Finally, when planning your arrival and integration into the United States, always seek appropriate guidance and be attentive to the country’s legal requirements, ensuring that all steps – including obtaining adequate health insurance – are carried out correctly and safely.
