What documents help demonstrate the relevance of your public health research?

In the EB-2 NIW there is no single mandatory list of documents. What matters is gathering evidence that, taken together, proves the originality, impact, and practical application of your public health research. The strength of the case comes from the coherence among the pieces, not from any single document.

Some documents tend to support this argument well:

• Publications in recognized journals and citations that show the reach of the work.
• Recommendation letters from experts attesting to the importance and originality of your research.
• Evidence of participation as a speaker or invited guest at conferences and events in the field.
• Awards, competitive funding, and other formal recognitions.
• Reports or statements showing how the research has influenced policies, clinical practices, or been adopted by leading organizations.

Before assembling the dossier, it is worth evaluating each item individually to determine whether it genuinely reinforces the relevance and impact of your work. Organization and clarity carry as much weight as the content itself.

Since each case is analyzed individually by the competent authority, it is advisable to verify updated requirements with USCIS and seek guidance from a specialist before filing.
