Is there a limit on how many times you can reapply after a denial?

There is no maximum number of attempts: with the EB-2 NIW, you can reapply as many times as needed if a petition is denied. No formal limit prevents a new submission.

What truly matters is not how many times you try, but what changes between one attempt and the next. Resubmitting the exact same material, without new information or evidence, tends to produce the same outcome while adding more costs and delays.

Each submission is evaluated independently, based on the merits of the documents and the evidence that your work serves the national interest. A successful reapplication therefore usually comes with a stronger case: new results, more compelling support letters, or a clearer argument about the impact of your work.

Because each case is assessed individually and requirements can change, it is worth reviewing the current requirements on the official source (USCIS) and considering expert guidance to understand why the case was denied before filing again.
