Is it important to prove that your innovations contributed to the modernization of distribution systems?

In the EB-2 NIW, there is no formal requirement to prove that your innovations were determining in the modernization of distribution systems. The visa does not work with a closed checklist of mandatory achievements: what is evaluated is whether your work has merit and relevance that serve the national interest.

Even so, showing how your work contributed to modernizing these systems is a valuable supporting piece of evidence. It strengthens the narrative when accompanied by material that third parties can verify:

• Publications, patents, or awards related to the solutions you developed.
• Reports and testimonials documenting the practical results achieved.
• Evidence of concrete benefits, such as gains in efficiency or service quality.

Rather than claiming something was decisive, the most compelling approach is to let the facts demonstrate the reach of your impact. Since each case is reviewed individually by the competent authority, it is worth checking the updated requirements with USCIS and evaluating your profile with a specialist before filing.
