It may differ. Within the L-1 there are two main pathways, the L-1 individual and the L-1 Blanket, and the review dynamics of each tend to influence the pace of the process.
The L-1 Blanket builds on a prior approval already granted to the corporate group. With that foundation already recognized, individual cases under the Blanket tend to follow a more straightforward path, since part of the corporate structure has been validated in advance.
The L-1 individual, on the other hand, is evaluated case by case, which may require a more detailed documentary review. This does not mean a better or worse outcome, just a different verification flow.
Keep in mind that actual timelines depend on factors that change over time, such as petition volume, the workload of the responsible agency, and the consular post involved. For that reason, the safest approach is to check current processing times at the official source rather than assuming a fixed duration.
