How to respond to an RFE that questions the relevance of investments made?

The EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver) is a merit-based pathway, not an investment vehicle. Even so, when your work involves investments, an RFE (Request for Evidence) may ask you to demonstrate how those investments connect to the national interest. Your response must make that connection explicit, clearly and objectively.

• An explanation combining quantitative and qualitative aspects, always tied to the visa criteria.

Maintain transparency, correlate each piece of evidence to your argument, and be wary of promises of guaranteed outcomes. Because each case is reviewed individually, it is worth verifying updated requirements with USCIS or a qualified specialist before submitting your response.
